Go Tell It On The Mountain

My Christmas greetings to you all. May these ladies inspire you with Yuletide cheer.

Wow. So many things that could be said.

I love the intro:

"I wish you a merry Christmas, a blessed Christmas, and most of all a happy Christmas." Ummm...don't merry, blessed, and happy pretty much mean the same thing? So why "most of all" a happy Christmas? Why not "most of all" a merry Christmas?

Which one is Henrietta and which one is Merna? And where do all the other voices come from?

Who's laying down that fat bass line?

Why does Henrietta (assuming she's the one on the left) look so happy, but Merna not even crack a smile or look at the camera (or uncross her arms, for that matter)? Is she being held against her will and forced into doing this? Is her refusal to look at the camera some kind of passive-aggressive rebellion?

This reminds me of the time you tried to lead music for that old folks group and you puked in the middle of it...that was a bad time.
